Year 4 enjoyed their cross curricular week, learning about Japan. They started on Monday by learning to meditate, relaxing whilst listening to traditional Japanese Zen music . Year 3 and 4 had opportunity to test and improve their cycling skills by attending a Level 1 bicycle course this Monday. I am happy to announce the children passed their exam and are now even more responsible members of the cycling community. Well done!
Year 4 has been doing some cross curriculum learning by mixing Science with Maths. They have used musical instruments to test their hearing and to investigate the relationship between distance and the strength of sound. They have used data loggers to check if their initial measurements were accurate and recorded their learning using line graphs.
Year 4 enjoyed a few busy afternoons as they created some Egyptian themed silhouette pictures. They have also started on Egyptian jewelleries using dried pasta pieces.
