A huge THANK YOU to everyone who voted for our International Garden/Outdoor Classroom Project funded by Tesco Bags of Help. Our project came second and has been chosen by Tesco Customers to receive a grant award of £10,000! This is a fantastic result and the first time our school has ever been part of a community vote. We look forward to starting work on the garden as part of our 50 Year celebrations. Thank you to Mrs Joyce for preparing the bid.
This morning we came together for our school act of worship to think about how we can be stars of hope this Advent. This will help us to prepare for the coming of Jesus.
Well done to the choir who sang and drummed at today’s Fayre at the United Reform Church. You sounded great and looked as though you enjoyed yourselves. Thank you to the parents and teachers who came along to support the choir. A special well done to Daniel in Year 5 who led the drumming so confidently and to our Year 6 members who were in particularly impressive voice today. As the organiser said ” You were brilliant!” We were awarded a plaque and certificates which will be presented on Friday 2nd December at Assembly. Our next performance will be at our Christmas Fayre on Saturday 3rd December at 2.30pm. Liz Heymoz

This week our Year 5 and 6 children had the opportunity to improve their cycling and road safety skills by taking part in the Level 1 and 2 Herts Cycling Training course. It was tremendous to see them improving their skills and cycling safely and with confidence.
