The children had an amazing time at the RAF Museum on Thursday. They took part in an exciting workshop; building and testing their own paper planes. We looked around the museum’s huge collection and used interactive resources to learn about forces related to flight. Thank you Miss Pringle!
Children also took part in an owl workshop on Wednesday, thanks to the Night Owl team.
Throughout this week the children have focused their learning on the British Science week theme of flight. The children looked at poetry depicting flight and they investigated parachutes and rockets. They also researched barn owls, compiled a timeline of the history of aviation and produced some wonderful artwork. Year 4 showed off all this wonderful learning today during their Celebration Morning. Thank you to all parents who came!
Thank you for Mrs Joyce and Year 3 for a lovely St. Patrick’s Day Assembly this morning! Special thanks to Isabel Gidman for sharing her wonderful dancing skills with us! She made us all very proud!
